This is what it looks like when I connect to my iMac at home right now via Screen Sharing. Boy, the icons are hard to read! I normally just work on 1 monitor remotely at a time. I currently have 2 additional monitors plugged in on either side of my iMac...
The background is a panorama I took on a hiking trip in Rocky Mountain National Park, in Colorado a few years ago.
