MINOT, N.D. -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and its contractors began removing temporary clay levees here, Aug. 15, 201, that were put in place during the flood fight. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) tasked the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with assisting the North Dakota Souris River communities in recovering from devestating floods.
